Star Studded Beauty – Blyth’s Kingfisher
Rarest Kingfisher among the list of 12 kingfisher species found in India, I captured this beauty in pakke national reserve, Arunachal Pradesh. bird behavior is very jittery and won't even allow wandering nearby. We camouflaged ourselves for almost 6 hours before bird perched on captured location. Our intent was to capture this beauty on perch rather than rock.
