A Holy Defend
The Pheasant tailed jacanas breed in the monsoon season. Mangalajodi marshland is a breeding place for them. They lay eggs on the floating leaves. Those eggs become the easiest target for the common crows. And the cute birds are not equipped with sharp claws or beaks. The crows attack them and consume the eggs. The jacanas try their best to protect the eggs and beat off the crows but the food chain continues.
