Prayer in the Mountains
Diskit Monastery, the largest and the oldest surviving monastery in Nubra Valley of Ladakh, stands atop a hill right above the flood plains of the Shayok River. Majestic mountains, cold deserts, snow-covered roads, heavenly emerald lakes, Spotless Blue Sky and the affable locals - these could toughly sum up the grandeur of Ladakh!
