Prey and Predator
The Tawny Eagle (Aquila rapax) breeds in most of Africa both north and south of the Sahara Desert and across tropical southwestern Asia to India. It kills small mammals up to the size of a rabbit, reptiles, and birds, but It also steals food from other raptors. Here It feeds a baby Nilgai which was dead earlier. The shot was taken in outskirts of Bikaner town, Rajasthan.
