A Midwinter Night's Dream
The Barasingha or Swamp deer is an iconic animal of Kanha and among the most beautiful animals of this country too. When we saw this beautiful male barasingha it was late afternoon. The reflections of setting sun were creating an illusion of thousands stars around the deer every time the wind was blowing over the shallow water.
