Jagganna Thota Prabhala Teertham
Jaggannathota Prabha (tall totems) festival is the celebration of the rich traditions and heritage dating back to the 17' Century. It is observed in the Konaseema area of Andhra Pradesh with gaiety and fervour. In this ancient festival Tall Totems (Prabha) from nearby villages are carried on shoulders across coconut, paddy fields and canals and kept in display in a coconut field for villagers to offer prayers. This is celebrated on the third day of Sankranthi festival called as Kanuma.
