Sloth Bear at Wide Angle
Sloth Bears are dangerous and shy animals. In a very unusual behaviour, wild sloth bears living in hills and forests surrounding an old temple of goddess in a remote part of India are tolerant of humans who pass through the forest while visiting the temple. I approached different groups of bears for months before identifying some individuals who would allow a close approach without getting bothered.
