A frantic chase
Plain simple greed led to this particular chase. When the Cormorant in front managed to catch a huge fish, it had to scramble for its life. Another Cormorant, at least twenty feet away, spurtingly leapt towards the Cormorant with the prey who then had no option but to himself rush away with his kill. The pursuing Cormorant did not have a chance in hell even to catch up, still he gave a fierce chase. If not greed, then what else can it be called.....
