Laggar Falcon pairs
In October the Spiny lizards are available in abundance and Laggars are very active because of ease in hunting and availability of food. Here the male hunted a spiny lizard and brought it to his nest for the female laggar at the very top of a tree in Gaushala, Talchappar. Female took the kill and flew away to a small thorny tree and started feeding on it. After sometime the male approached, may be in the hope of getting share, but the female ate half and flew away with other half too. D500, Niko
