MONAL AND THE SILK ROUTE
Any decent shot of a magnificent bird like Monal (male in particular) would be attractive but my idea was to capture this beauty in its habitat against the backdrop of the famous zig-zag road of East Sikkim. Having failed for 3 consecutive days, finally got the bird at desired location and made this image. It was quite early morning, also a bit cloudy, hence light was not favourable.
