The First Light
Tasman Glacier is the largest glacier in New Zealand, and one of several large glaciers which flow south and east towards the Mackenzie Basin from the Southern Alps in New Zealand's South Island. This image is taken where the Glacier ends and Tasman River starts. Witnessing this surreal sunrise was an incredible experience! It is the backside of Mt. Cook and the tip of Mount Cook becomes pink for a few moments when the first rays of the sun hit it. What an incredible sight! EXIF: Nikon D85
