PREY AND PREDATOR
I was at Mangalajodi for birding. It was a hot and dry noon. I got into a small sail boat with a guide and we slowly started sailing, stopping near the field where some Black Headed Ibis searching for foods. While we were watching, one of birds caught a snake and swallowed it head first. Unlike most wading birds, Ibis does not probe with its bill while searching for food items but instead targets its prey directly.
