India Photography Awards is a company founded by individuals with 20 plus years of experience in the corporate and media world, with a defined objective of encouraging and promoting talent in photography, specific to Indian nationals.
To promote photography. To promote excellence in photography. To provide a platform to serious photographers to showcase and share their pictures with a wide audience. To celebrate the joy that good photographs add to everyone’s life.
The website conducts monthly and annual competitions for professional, non-professional, and student photographers wherein only Indian nationals can submit pictures taken anywhere in the world under two main genres: nature and travel, and multiple subcategories under them. Additional genres will be added at a later date. There will be submission fees for entries. Winners from the monthly contest will be awarded cash prize and merchandise, and will also qualify to submit their images in the annual competition, wherein the images will be judged by internationally recognized photographers having time-honored and proven credentials. In addition, we will also conduct multiple theme based competition through the year. These will be topical and may at times be sponsor-driven.
